Mashup

What makes this feat even more remarkable is the fact that Lady Gaga is there not just because of the eye-popping Sh7.8billion ($90 million) ‘Monster Ball Tour’ which became the highest grossing tour by a debut headlining artist this year and could easily go down as one of the top ten highest grossing tours of all time, Jonathan Ive, Vice President of Industrial Design, Apple Computers and designer of the iMac, who has been described by the New York Times as "perhaps the most influential designer in the computer world" and by Time Magazine as "one of the world's cyber elite". In their study -- which includes all sorts of equations and variables and such -- they conclude that "her endorsement had a positive effect on the votes Obama received, increased the overall voter participation rate, and increased the number of contributions received by Obama." but also because of her 32 million Facebook fans and 9.5 million Twitter followers- cheekily referred to as ‘Little Monsters.
More than 2 million iMac computers were sold in the first year of production, and Business
Week has called iMac "one of the century's lasting images". They even come up with a
number.1,015,559. As in, Oprah's endorsement meant 1,015,559 additional votes for Sen. Obama.
